Today, I am going to share to you the differences between 2 magazine layouts.

Both the two magazines we are about to be admired have the same topic: Food.

So what are you waiting for? Let's "taste" the beauty of cuisine right away.

First, let's look at the cover photo of the first magazine. This is the magazine "Oi Vietnam" in February 2020. The outstanding colour have immediately made first impression to the audiences' eyes, which are 2 main colours, orange and white, inspired by the carrots on the cover page.

The balance of orange colour from the magazine's name, title, content, along with the white background and plate makes the magazine cover photo look extremely impressive. At the same time, with dotted green corianders, and black colour around the plate, the magazine is even more colourful and eye-catching.

Not only that, the name "Oi" is positioned quite widely in an orange square on the top left of the magazine with large and clear fonts. The quote "A Time to Give" are written in a more special way, with the stylized "Give" written at the center of the magazine. From a psychology perspective, this would bring them immediate attention.

With the 2nd magazine cover, we can see an eye-catching image of an appetizer, with a variety of colours. But the most prominent gamut is still the green, dotted with white and light gold of the title, making the cover of the magazine extremely attractive.

More interestingly, the word "Food" is stylized with a large and clear font which is very easy to attract reader' eyes. This font reminds me of using a highlighter to create elegant and beautiful handwriting.

In particular, the title name and information in the magazine are neatly arranged on the right hand side. This even makes the reader more focused on the "main character" of the magazine - which is the classy appetizer plate.
