Making Media - Amazing course and journey.

Hi, as it's said that" Every party all has to end". And my Making Media journey is coming to the last week. So maybe, this is my last blog in this series. For sure,

Looking back the past 12 weeks, it has not been too short or too long, but I have truly learned and received many valuable and practical skills, knowledge in my life. And the past 12 weeks also marked a new milestone when I've transformed from a normal newbie when entering university to becoming proficient in the "Making Media" skills.

It's been 18 years and this is the first time that I have been able to approach a new attracting subject like Making Media.

From day one, I was really surprised because the first exercise was the production of a podcast - something I've never done before.

To be honest, when I started holding the Zoom recorder, I was really confused and didn't know how to use it, because it had so many buttons. However, Ms Linda has helped me so much, from opening the instructional video to bringing the device and instructing it in person. Ms Linda also helped me understand what a good podcast consists of, how to say it to be most natural, how to convey the message must be easy to understand.

For the podcast, I did spent so much exertion and hard-work, even late night changing script. I and my teammates did get mark CR for it. It was quite nice, but I aimed for higher, so that's why I spent double hard-work in my Magazine and website.

To be honest, this is indeed an exercise that I quite liked and waited for a long time. Before creating my own magazine, I was instructed how to use Canon 70D camera, from aperture, shutter, ISO, rules of third, how to align photo,... to have the most beautiful a photo. Moreover, the best lesson in those 12 weeks was that we used the camera to "create our own art". And until now, I still remember that lesson. After that, Ms Linda truly gave me valuable advices and encouragement in what I have captured. That is a great preparation for me before starting my own magazine.

And during final weeks of the course, we were able to open our horizons, not only seeing our colleagues' projects during peer review in class, but we also seeing and learning what a beautiful magazine is, and in a beautiful magazine, how fonts, images, titles have been chosen and laid out.

And today, it is also the last lesson in my Making Media course, with room 1.10,002 at Hanoi Campus. Surely I will miss the 12 weeks full of memories from group assignments, happy moments and most of all, it is the image of an enthusiastic and dedicated instructor, always ready to help me every time. Need: Ms Linda. Thank you so so much Ms Linda! Thank you Making Media!

That's is the end of my "Making Media" course. But for my own "Making Media" Journey? Of course I will strive forward and keep continue what I have learned!
